Local Natives - Wooly Mammoth

I was going to post some Local Natives a long time ago but never got a chance to, so here goes.

Their newest album Hummingbird is different from Gorilla Manor and it’s an interesting evolution in their music.  There still seems to be a wall of sound effect which is something that I always like.  I did find it a bit slower than their previous album but that doesn’t mean that it’s less enjoyable.

I picked Wooly Mammoth because a) I like mammoths and b) it’s one of the more upbeat songs on the album.  It’s reminiscent of their old stuff but still in a new direction which is kind of cool.

Local Natives is a band from LA and have been around since 2005.

I hope you all enjoy this and have a great Saturday!
