The Rapture - How Deep Is Your Love?

I never really gave The Rapture much of a chance. I knew and loved them for the theme to Misfits (haven’t bothered with Series 4) but otherwise I tried listening to their albums and wasn’t too impressed. Tucked away inside their discography is 2011’s  In the Grace of your Love. The album attracts me due to it’s indie dance style rather than the grunge or electro noise styling of their other albums; they were the pioneers of post-punk revival after all. The album has a couple really great tunes like ‘Sail Away’, ‘In The Grace of your Love’ and my chosen ‘How Deep Is Your Love’. They’ve had three albums since that are very EDM inclined so I hope they come back to another album like this one soon.

I was reconnected with The Rapture while working on an Indie Gym Playlist. They’re great to work out to as well as to enjoy on the fly. I’m still curating the playlist so I’ll throw it on here some time next week. I find the groove in this song to be undeniable.
