Dog is Dead - Glockenspiel Song

Dog is Dead’s debut album released in October and it’s exactly what I’m looking for in indie pop. I feel like I have to do more sorting through indie bands nowadays to find the ones that have original sounds. Dog is Dead does catchy the right way for me. They have a very Noah and the Whale/Bombay Bicycle Club feel to them. My biggest problem is that they don’t have their stuff on Spotify; I actually listen to them over and over on Soundcloud.

Glockenspiel Song was the first one I heard by them and surprisingly not through Skins since I stopped halfway through the second cast. I can totally see why it would be used in there though: “We are a mess, we are failures and we love it”. That’s pretty much their motto. I digress. Dog is Dead shows a lot of promise with their first album and I think they’re definitely on the right track to becoming one of the biggest names in indie pop.
