Alabama Shakes - Hold On

I’ve had Hold On rolling around in my library for some time now but I hadn’t set down to their album yet. I even almost posted it on a couple other Fridays but now after my friend came back from seeing them at Bestival raving about how fantastic they were did I feel the necessity to post them. This is my favorite song called Hold On, beating out Tom Waits, Pearl Jam, Green Day, Michael Bublé, Kansas, Jet, the Jonas Brothers and yes, Good Charlotte… Seriously there are over 60 songs by popular artists called Hold On. 

I’ve had the chance now to listen to the album several times and while I think Hold On is the big hit, it’s backed by several very strong tracks. Definitely worth your time if you’ve only managed to check this one out so far.
