Elbow - Grounds for Divorce

To be honest the only reason I saw Elbow was for the Killers after. The lead singer turned out to be extremely funny and the full band was a spectacle but otherwise I found Elbow’s music to be, in a word… blah. Very blah. So blah in fact, that when Elbow started playing this song I thought it was a cover. It wasn’t until after that I realized that it actually was by them and that they had at least two songs in their repertoire that I found enjoyable (One Day Like This made for a fantastic finale).

Regardless of my tastes, the crowd absolutely loved Elbow. I’m sure you’ll recognize this song because I think I’ve heard it mainly through commercials for House and Left 4 Dead but now I’m listening to it because it’s just plain fantastic.
