Fairpoint Convention - Farewell, Farewell A friend of mine just came back from the festival actually organized by Fairpoint Convention. It featured a riveting performance from the band that had past and present members. One of which, Dave Swarbrick, who managed to die, have his obituary posted in the guardian, be reborn and then play on stage. He is now the greatest advert for the NHS. Sandy Denny unfortunately did not rise from the grave for this performance but Fairpoint featured several fantastic up-and-coming folk artists to recreate her music. |
