Macklemore - City Don’t Sleep feat. Don-P

So this week I was bored at work and picked up some magazines to browse while I was being a model employee. XXL Magazine does this yearly list of the “Top 10 Freshmen” which is basically a round-up of hip-hop acts “to look out for” and I decided to check out a few of the the artists. Some I hadn’t heard of (Future; eh, Don Trip; eh), some I had heard of and listened to (Iggy Azalea; ehh maybe, Machine Gun Kelly; no ) and then there was Macklemore. Ben Haggerty, born in raised in Seattle Washington, has been making music since 2000 and so I figured I’d check out his earlier work. The Language of My Mind, released in 2005, turned out to be a great find for me and I’ll probably listen to it quite a few times before I get bored with it. Enjoy socially conscious music?
